Formed in 2013, C.A.R.E. Herefordshire CIC is a social enterprise with a focus on connecting people
and communities whilst combating loneliness from rural isolation in South Herefordshire.

This focused mission is implemented through four outlets: G.V. Fitness Centre (supporting both
physical fitness and wellbeing through affordable membership), G.V. Café & Talk Community Hub
(with weekly lunch clubs and dementia-friendly events), Pontrilas Store & Post Office (which is
open seven days a week, including the Post Office facilities), and Community Development
Initiative (which includes partnerships with local schools and non-profits as well as organising free
or affordable events to promote connection, community, health and wellbeing.

We proudly serve our South Herefordshire community and residents, working closely with local schools, community drop-in clinics, partnering with non-profits, and hosting dementia-friendly weekly lunches.
